The North Sound ACH was initially funded by SIM grants from the Health Care Authority, individual contributions and contributions from organizations who have a presence in the North Sound region. In 2017, the North Sound ACH began a 5-year contract with the Health Care Authority to lead the region’s efforts related to the state’s Medicaid Transformation Project (MTP).
North Sound ACH’s work to decrease the number of unintended pregnancies was made possible by a combination of Community Benefit grant funds from Group Health Cooperative, HCA funding and individual contributions. This work continues under the MTP.
In 2018 the North Sound ACH received a generous contribution from Amerigroup to seed our Community Resilience Fund, and has a commitment of support for up to five years from the Arcora Foundation to support efforts to transform oral health in the region.
