Equity Training for ACH Partners
May 22, 2019 –
North Sound ACH is excited to kick off our Tribal and Equity Learning Series on May 22. All North Sound ACH Implementation Partners are required to attend.
Date: Wednesday, May 22, 2019
Time: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm [Boxed lunch provided]
Location: Lynnwood Convention Center -- 3711 196th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036
We're excited to have our first convening with all of our implementation partners together! The morning presentations will be focused on: 1) learning about the North Sound tribes and their approach to health (led by Darrell Hillaire from Children of the Setting Sun Productions); and 2) equity and targeted universalism, which North Sound embedded in its Project Plan (led by dr. john powell of Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society, UC Berkeley).
In the afternoon, partners will join facilitated work sessions to discuss key takeaways from the morning presentations, and identify opportunities to implement these independently in your organizations, in collaboration with other partners, and as a region.
Who should attend
All Implementation Partners are required to send 2-3 team members. We are recommending you send those who hold the following roles: 1) Program or project manager, or other staff closely involved with your North Sound ACH transformation project work; 2) a member of your team who focuses on equity, tribal engagement, and/or community engagement. Please let us know who from your organization will attend by registering by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 15. Contact email@example.com for a registration link.
